Why this must be read:
Sheppard/Weir is probably the most popular het pairing currently in SG:A, although only one season in, there's still time. And Little Red is one of the best out there writing this pairing. I like the sleepiness of this, the way it starts slowly as John wakes and then moves on to something deeper. It's well written, showing a more serious side of both John and Elizabeth, and was written after the first episode and therefore captures what could have been rather than what I think is. However, it's a nice look into what it's like to be the leader or the soldier, though, and there's a gentle subtlety to it that I liked. Hence the rec.
