Why this must be read: When the world breaks, you'd think people would leave their preconceptions behind, but of course they don't. They hold onto them even more tightly. Lee is no exception, and he's so pretty when he angsts, especially when it's pointless. "and from Your face I will be hidden" is another beautiful vignette by meyerlemon.
