Why this must be read:
One of the things I like about HP fandom is how authors take the idea of war--a magical war that has affected *everyone* to greater or lesser degree--and build upon it. This story follows Molly Weasley about on Order business, a change, as Molly is infrequently an active Order member in fanfic. Excellent use of the character, without any of the clichés usually attached to her.

- The house is warded. There are layers of magicks covering it, and all the power of two old wizarding families is soaked into the stones. She and Arthur made blood patterns round the walls of the Burrow, earlier this year. Marked their names and ancestries in careful runes. She hopes it’s enough. They haven’t come for any of the pure-blood families yet.
