Why this must be read:
Stargate Atlantis has proven to be rich with potential for fic about secondary characters. Miko is a scientist under Rodney McKay's leadership (poor gal) and she doesn't get a lot of development on the show. But Brighid has a special ability to bring out a depth with her stories and this little ficlet gives us a whole complex world for Miko, complete with love and cranes. Errs on the side of femslash, but barely.
