Why this must be read:
This story is what cemented my love for the LOTR fandom. And even more so, for a character in particular that I won’t mention because it would spoil the fun. This fic ties in perfectly with canon, allowing two Men to come full circle as one’s promise to the other is finally fulfilled.
But, borrowing the author’s summary: Ever so slightly AU; on the Paths of the Dead, not all the ghosts are strangers.
