Why this must be read: There are only a few Dana/Natalie stories in existence online, but what the fandom lacks in quantity of those it more than makes up for in quality.

"I Don't Like Mondays" has extremely potent imagery. The images are so clear and are formed with such visceral details that reading the story is like watching someone turn splashes of paint into a living, breathing work of art. The authors created a series of highly visual -- possibly even tangible -- moments that stick in the reader's mind. It's not an extremely complex story, but the details and sharp focus make its simplicity rich and real. The entire piece has an intense, painful kind of beauty that will really strike you.
