Burning Buildings, Burning Bridges by Caz Q (PG)

Fandom: THE WEST WING
Pairing: Josh/ Donna
Author on LJ: Not that I know of - anyone?
Author Website: cazq.freeservers.com. This is possibly an old site she know longer uses. Can someone advise me if this is the case? Ta.
Why this must be read:

So I'm hoping to cover as many as TWW pairings as I can doing these recs, and I remembered this one from way, way back and I couldn't believe it hadn't been recced yet. I mean, it's such a pretty Josh/ Donna fic, and you really ought to have read it. Even if you're not into the pairing. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. It means I get the pleasure of reccing it! Yay me!

This is one of those stories that's a sheer pleaure to read (and in *stark* contrast to my last rec - how we change...). Lots of clever dialogue, a little Josh neurosis and the fandom's most endearing kiss. This is what you love about the show.

Here's a wee snippet because it's just too cute:

"Come to lunch with me, Josh," she says, standing in his doorway with a paper bag in one hand and a magazine in the other.

"Well, I don't know," he replies, looking up from the brain-achingly dull briefing memo he's been sent on the Kreutzer Amendment to HR839. He waves at the stacks of papers on his desk. "If you and I are both out of the office, who's gonna run the country?"

is indeed on LJ, but I am not certain she would be happy with her details being given without her permission being sought first...

*raises hand* Ta for the reticence, [livejournal.com profile] xsabx. It's okay, though. Yeah, I am Spartacus. That site is pretty much dead now - the e-mail address I used back then is utterly dead, and thus I can't get into the site, as I've also forgotten my password. Otherwise I would probably have taken it down - my fannish days are long done. Nice to know someone enjoyed that story after all this time, though :).
