Why this must be read: This is one of those stories that just rings true when you read it. The characterization fits the races of both characters so well (hobbits and dwarves) that you keep reading just to see where the author can take it. In brief, both characters have created wedding presents for Aragorn and Arwen's upcoming nuptials. The gifts they make are indicative of their cultures, but it is the clever writing and intricate weaving of backstory with current details that makes this a winner.
