Why this must be read:
I'll admit it. I have a promotion!kink. I like future fic, where the characters we know have been thrust into unfamiliar situations, and my favourite is when they've been promoted, which means they have to renegotiate old relationships.
Claira takes what we're given at the end of season one, and promotes Kara and demotes Lee, and shows us what they have to deal with. And it's great.
