Why this must be read: This series chronicles a developing romance between Logan and an adult Jubilee, and I love the way the characters feel in these stories, like they really are a little older and (sometimes) a little wiser. Like they're still made of the same stuff--good and bad--that makes us recognize them as them, but that they've been tempered slightly by time. Like this is really how they'd turn out if Marvel Time ever gets them to this point.
The stories call on their shared history in a way that is touching and honest without being maudlin, and the part where Logan thinks about a young Jubilee buying him that leather bag still makes me sniffle.
