My last couple of recs are going to all be Mulder/Scully, because I am a 'shipper deep down and want to go out with what I think are some of the best classic MSR fiction ever written.

Why this must be read: because it is just so sexy and filled with great dialog.

Scully is mad because she feels Mulder touches her inappropriately at work. Mulder claims the touches are "strictly platonic." They get into a discussion about what is a 'good touch/bad touch' for friends and colleagues and Scully feels Mulder isn't respecting her as a partner. She walks out on the argument when Mulder doesn't seem to grasp her points.

Not be left out of a debate, Mulder goes to her apartment a couple of days later to confront the real reason Scully is upset: that those touches make her so uncomfortable because she wants Mulder.

Then, he tells her the definition of "platonic love" and lets just say things happen. Sexy, sexy things. Mulder is determined to seduce her with words and touches and boy, does he.

Is it hot in here? *g*

He was doing it again. She'd counted at least four so far today, and as far as she was concerned, that was four too many.

Oh, wait, she'd forgotten about the bit at the car. That made five.

Five distinctly non-partner-like touches that she'd received so far today. And it wasn't yet noon.
