I was surprised to see that there weren't any quercus reccs in this fandom. I'm thrilled to be the first.

Roswitha is a unique take on what the X-Files are looking for. It takes Mulder, Skinner and Scully through awakening life changes and new awareness of themselves and each other. It has wonderful original characters. It must be read because it is so different from most of the X-Files fic I've read.

Also, it is set in northern California, near where I'm from, and she does a wonderful job describing the area and the overall feel of the area.

What a great story! The setting was lushly evoked, and the writing was excellent.

I haven't read anything by quercus before...now I have a new author to explore.
