Hello! My fully loaded, Herbie Crack Starship, err, Van is a little late off the starting blocks in a Galaxy Far, Far Away!
As I race to catch up, I'd like to offer you a variety of pairings to consider for your recreational Star Wars Prequels enjoyment. But my first entry will feature the OTP that started it all, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan *fangrrl swoon*.

Why this must be read: This story must be read twice. The first time, read it as you would any great story. Let yourself relax into it, let the angst build, admire the characterization and lovely turns of phrase. Then, afterwards, after a suitable "sink in" time, read it again, knowing now what you didn't know then.
Even though this story was written shortly after The Phantom Menace came out, it holds up well for the trilogy. It was never meant to, but it explains the dicotomy between SexyStrut!Obi-Wan and Asexual!Obi-Wan that we see in the movies.
