Why this must be read:
The four main characters are seen in this story as a family, from Roslin's POV, which works very well. This fic is almost the definition of 'bittersweet' - the love between the characters is real, but there's an under current of darker emotion that makes everything seem more deep and complex. The story manages to say something about all four of the characters and their connections to each other in a short format, which is an impressive accomplishment. Well, in conclusion, good story! Yay for good stories!
