Why this must be read: I love how this story combines the pragmatic with the romantic. We see Doyle learn some truths, sort of file them away, but not be overly concerned about them. But when he does decide to push on to the inevitable next step, the story makes a 180ยบ turn. Now, it's important and emotional and just lovely.

I liked this story very much, and 'What the Thunder Said'. I read Cat Tales and loved the first one particularly, although I admit to losing interest later on.
I've been reading Pros stories for just over a year. A friend here in Sydney (Australia) lent me a box of circuit stories including 'The Way of the Samurai', which is, IMHO, one of the better AU's in this fandom.
You'll be read as long as there are people interested in Pros.
Thank you

I haven't read that one yet. I'll have to pull out my CD and make sure to.
