Why this must be read:

Dick Grayson and Roy Harper were kids together. They were teen sidekicks to Batman and Green Arrow, respectively. Batman thought showing affection showed that he was weak. Green Arrow often forgot he had a ward to whom he should be showing affection. They fell apart in different ways: Dick changed his name and left home. Roy got hooked on heroin. Now they're grown and fighting crime together again, but only a little less screwed up.

This pairing is like candy. They're so sweet and screwed up together and injured in so many of the same ways. This is possibly my favourite story for them. It's smut with a lot of friendship, a portion of fucked up, and a touch of humour, everyone perfectly themselves.
