Why this must be read:
Angel is a fandom in which good humorous fics should be found and nurtured and cherished. This story combines some of my favorite things: it's funny, it's told from Harmony Kendall's delightfully skewed point-of-view, and it takes place in two alternative universes at once (and yet both are canon; does everybody love this fandom as much as I do?)callmesandy is one of those dizzyingly polyfannish writers who leaves me in awe of her versatility, and her Harmony voice is particularly wonderful.
Excerpt:
Fred was skin and bones which Harmony would so have loved to be in high school, only her boobs would have had to stay the same or it would have sucked. It was funny because it totally looked good on Fred. Harmony thought some of that was how warm Fred was and all that delicious blood under her skin. But she would never ever eat Fred because Fred was her human lover. Harmony didn't even bite her or nip or anything (even though she'd heard girls liked that) because she didn't want Fred to worry.
The whole enchilada (almost as good as a taco):
