Why this must be read:

This story was my introduction to Unovis' writing. I had just discovered her site and had no clue what to read first - I ended up choosing this story because I really liked the title. Unovis' stories are very curvy, it's fun leaning into the curves, taking the curves, and sometimes I go too fast and I land on my ass, because those turns are complex. But I always get up again and read on, because I am having too much fun. And she makes me fall for and appreciate things that would have never occurred to me.

So, it was a dark and rainy night long, long ago in Lille...
