Why this must be read:
Why read this fic? It's the fic that started it all. Namely the ATF Alternate Universe in the M7 fandom. An AU that is almost as popular as the original universe. Mog did such a great job of writing the guys in the present, that countless other fans joined in the sandbox.
But it took so much effort to speak those twelve little words so Chris decided silence would be best for the time being.
And then a rough, familiar hand gripped his again and Larabee realized he had no use for words anyway. Anything important that needed to be communicated could be done with just the look of an eye, a nod of the head. Just the way it had been done since their first assignment.
