Why this must be read: Breaking my AU streak in honor of the holiday, but in my defense it is set almost entirely in Santa's Workshop, so it's almost an AU. At first glance, you think it's a crack!fic. I mean, Chris Kirkpatrick is short, and yeah, his ears are kind of pointy. But one of Santa's Elves?
But the story is so rich, full of wisdom about the meaning of Christmas, and how precious children and childhood are, and coming to terms with sexual orientation, and all that heart-warming Christmassy stuff. Plus lots of humor, and Santa.
and it makes me cry *sniff*
