I go from day to day by kel (R)
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Remus/Sirius
Author on LJ:

Author Website: obsessivetendencies.net/door
Why this must be read:
Call it Remus Lupin and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Call it True Love in a SHACK: The Fan Fiction.
Call it a kick-ass story that re-tracks the entire PoA book from Remus' perspective. The scope of this novella is intense and so impressive. kel takes us from the moment before Remus learns that Sirius has escaped from prison to the end of his tenure at Hogwarts, and everything in between. If Vector was a, like, the perfect morning danish, this story is more like thick stew on a cold winter's evening. It's filling and thorough and settles something in you that you didn't realize was jarred.
Anyway, enough with the bad analogies. Read the story!
The headline was his name again, same as every day for the last week, and Remus could almost, almost look at the photo they'd been running for three days now. Nothing new to report, really, except that Fudge had told the Muggle Prime Minister, a measure that hadn't been taken since the days of Voldemort.
The rest was all re-hash, and Remus knew the circumstances far too well, so he moved to push the paper aside. He glanced at the date in the top corner of the front page, and there was a nagging feeling like it should be familiar.
And then he remembered that it was Harry's birthday, James and Lily's son, it was his birthday.
