It's sort of an AU, but not really. She messed with the timeline a bit, but considering how much the show's creators mess with the timelines, that doesn't mean anything. It's a post 309 fic, and it's one of my favorite fics ever. Suz writes the snappiest Justin and Brian, and gives their relationship such spunk ('scuse the pun) that it's nothing less than pure joy to read.

So if you wondered what Brian got for Justin for his 20th birthday after his disastrous gift for Justin's 19th, this is the place to find out. And if you didn't wonder, well, you should, and you should read this. And if you have no idea who I'm talking about when I say "Brian and Justin", well, then, you absolutely have GOT to read this, because you're totally missing out.
