Grip of the City by Rysler (PG)

Why this must be read:
One of the recent major events in the DC universe was the death of Sue Dibny, which kicked off the 'Identity Crisis' miniseries. In 'Grip of the City' Rysler takes a moment to examine the reactions of Babs, Dinah and Helena. Although they don't always get along, the Birds of Prey pull together when they have to, and the story Rysler presents could fit in quite well as an issue of BOP that got lost somewhere along the way. There's no over-the-top angst or planets exploding, just three women doing their jobs as best they can in a time of crisis; this is one of the main reasons why I like the BOP comic book, and it's also why I like this story.
