Why this must be read:
This is a post-ep to "Dirty Girls." Frankly, I don't think there was enough fic written about Xander's perspectives on this particular episode. The man lost his eye for god's sake. Even if it did lead to the immortal, "Party in my eye socket and everybody's invited!" line, it was still pretty traumatic for me as a Xander girl. Here, James brings the angst in a short, slow sort of story that shows the double life Xander's leading--faking his life during the day and then battling his demons at night.
