Resurrection Series by Dolimir (NC-17)
So, last time I recced Sentinel, I tried to keep to things I thought no one had ever heard of. This time, I'm going in the opposite direction: stories I've read a million times and can't for the life of me figure out why they haven't been recced here before.
Fandom: SENTINEL
Pairing: Jim/Blair
Author on LJ:

Why this must be read:
Years after Blair disappears, Jim is being stalked by a brutal, damaged man named Mallory ... who bears more than a passing resemblance to Blair. The series is intriguing for the little hints dropped about what happened to Blair in the missing years, but more than that, it's heartwrenching to watch Mallory try and fit back into the holes left by Blair's absence despite his capacity for gentleness and friendship being completely expunged. Marcus Mallory isn't Blair, and it takes everyone around him a hell of a long time to admit to that and take him on his own terms.
1. Resurrection
2. Counterpoint
3. Adjustments
4. Beginnings
5. Confrontations
6. Love's Greatest Gift

You can, but I don't really write Sentinel anymore. I wouldn't want to mislead anyone.

I also like your take on the characters, especially Naomi who's so often, IMO, mistreated by authors.
Really a great series.
