Why this must be read:
I'm a Batman fangirl from way back, and my crush on Dick Grayson didn't bloom until he became Nightwing. I don't really have an OTP for Dick; one benefit to that is I read all pairings, het and slash. This fandom has quite a few Dick/Roy stories, for very good reasons (which are explained in the overview), and although this isn't my favorite Dick pairing, I highly recommend not ignoring the charms of this "best-friend-turned-lover" pairing.
This Outsiders story is a slash AU with suspenseful moments. It's a little on the angsty side, but not unbearably so.
