Why this must be read:
I found this story to be wonderfully written, both for the plot, and even more so for the character interaction. While the primary relationship here is between Leia and Han, all of the other characters--Luke, Chewie, and the droids--are all integrated into the story as well. All of the voices rang true to me (I’m especially fond of Chewie’s scenes with Han, and the sense I got of their long and comfortable friendship).
