Why this must be read:
I guess the pairing is there if you look at it closely (or with het goggles *g*), although this feels more gen than het to me. I read it first because the rare pairing caught my eye, and I am rec'ing it because this is an intriguing "what-if" that could have happened, in some universe. Warning for teenage angst and disillusioned crusader-against-evil angst.
