Angel/Queer As Folk U.S. (NC-17)

Title: The Man Who Wasn't There by Chase
Pairings Brian/Michael, Brian/Wesley, Brian/Spike at various times
Author on LJ [livejournal.com profile] chase820
Author Web site: Chase's LJ Memories

Why this must be read:
The story takes place after Queer As Folk U.S. Season Three and after Angel Season Four. No real spoilers for AtS Season Five, except the general situation. Brian Kinney leaves Pittsburgh and goes to work at Wolfram & Hart--a brilliant idea, handled so very well by Chase. This would work for fans of either series, but fans of both shows will be especially pleased. (The QAF prequel is The Man Who Sold the World, a nearly finished WIP, Brian/Michael. It's definitely worth reading.)

The most current version of The Man Who Wasn't There can be found on Herself's Web site, Bugger This.

I didn't notice the part about "nearly finished" when I read through the rec the first time. I got to the end of part fifteen and went "Waah!" There are no dates on the individual parts, do you know approximately how frequently Chase updates?

I just reread and notice that you state the the prequel is unfinished, but don't mention that "The Man Who Wansn't There" itself is unfinished. I haven't yet read the prequel.

That part was on her website. I guess she considers this book (there was a QaF-only prequel apparently) to be finished. The thing is, it ends with things still very much up in the air, so I first thought it was a WIP. It appears last part of this story was published in March. I really hope she continues it in the next "book".
