Why this fic must be read: Have you ever just been sitting there on the internet minding your own business when a friend you know and trust drops the most fantastic link, EVER into your IM window? That's how I found this fic and as soon as I read it I knew everyone else had to read it too.
The author calls this 'a pron break' from another fic she's writing, but this is so much more than porn (though really, it wins at being porn too, grab yourself an ice cold drink, spare panties and a fan before reading this my friends). There is so much about Ronon and Sheppard's relationship that she manages to get across in such a short period of time. I'm a firm believer that this (and the steamy sex) is the heart of the Shep/Dex ship, this amazing connection the two of them have that is clearly written all over this fic.

I didn't get any guidelines, so I'm not sure if there's any reason to prefer older fics to newer fics when making recs.

Here's what the Crack Van sign-up sheet says:
"Emphasis should be on fics that you feel are especially outstanding and accessible examples of your fandom, e.g. it plays on a repeated theme in the show, it's a fandom or a personal favourite, it was a controversial fic, it's good smut. Whatever."
The story's age doesn't matter; its accessibility does.

Thanks for the clarification!
