Why this must be read:
The Master and the Wolf challenges have sparked a lot of really good fic, and this story is a great example. Remus persuades Snape to help Neville Longbottom and winds up bound to Snape for a month for his trouble when Neville's potion explodes. Now, in most stories, this would be a cheesy, falling-in-love-despite-ourselves plot device, but here, Dovie assumes an established relationship to explore something richer: the things you discover when you can't run away from your lover... or yourself.
