Why this must be read: Nearly a year ago,blinkytreefrog, active proponent of DC's ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
secondbananas, or lesser known characters, and of the Rogues' Gallery of the Flash in particular, organized a small ficathon for said Rogues' Gallery. This is her own entry.
It takes place toward the end of the last run of FLASH, when there were two branches of the known as Rogues--one a group of former villains led by Jesse James, the first Trickster, and working for the government, and the other, led by Len Snart, Captain Cold, sticking to criminal ways.
blinkytreefrog shows the inner workings of both teams, as each leader checks on his teammates during the night. Not a whole lot of action (well, aside from that incidental to some powerful, messed up people having nightmares!), but a great introduction to and interpretation of each Rogue and his or her nightmares, background, and relationship to the others.
Everyone is beautifully in character; Blinky makes the villainous (and formerly villainous) characters sympathetic without whitewashing them.
