Why this must be read: This is a very short story by the elegant and romantic Tray. It features a popular (and for some, yearned for) AU: what if, what would happen if, Tessa met Methos? Next to Amanda, Tessa is the highest profile and most beloved woman in the show, and in spite of the lies of movie makers, the (female) Love of Duncan's Life. So of course, she should meet his other great love...
A very small taste:
Adam perked up, his expression of interest so keen that once again Tessa thought she should remember to draw it out one day. Ah, perhaps if she didn't already have Duncan she could have taken this adorable young man out and scandalized him. The idea was both ridiculous and appealing. She covered her grin this time with a delicate sneeze.
