Why this must be read: While Lorne and Parrish in reality only had like 2 minutes on onscreen time together on SGA, I like how various authors have taken that two minutes and morphed into an extremely interesting and provocative couple. The pairing isn't called 'Porne' for nothing. *g*

Why do I love this story? Well, it shows how vulnerable Major Nick Lorne is when he thinks he's been outed (thanks to ancient technology) and how desperately he doesn't want to leave Atlantis or his favorite botanist, David Parrish. Also, I love how we get a John/Rodney story in the midst of this Parrish/Lorne piece. (See Of Polar Bears).

30toseoul has captured the fear of every gay man or woman in the US military and weaved it into a believable and emotional tale. Plus, who can resist a angst-ridden Nick Lorne?
