Why this must be read:
This is a light-hearted PWP as Vala sets her mind to persuading Sam to explain to her what exactly phone sex is. Both character's voices are spot on, with Vala just exacerbating Sam's playful side. The fic is both hot and the dialogue funny, starting from Vala's initial misconception and going from there.
Sam eyed her suspiciously before handing the woman her cell. Vala took a seat on the edge of Sam's desk, waving the device about, holding it upside down, sideways, front to back. "What?" Sam barked.
"Seems cumbersome."
"It's a phone, Vala."
"I know it's a phone. I just can't figure out why anyone would want to have sex with it."
