Why this must be read:
This was written for the Harlequin Romance challenge, but while the plot borrows from the familiar tropes of Harlequin romances, this story is definitely a cut above. The Tim POV is marvelously in character and very distinctive. All of the minor characters, from Batman to Wonder Girl and Kid Flash, are drawn beautifully. And the Tim/Kon romance is entirely believable, full of just the right kind of angst, and very, very sweet.
