Just a quick reminder that December has been designated "Small Fandom Month" on

crack_van!

We've only had 7 people comment so far to say they're interested, so unless more of the literally dozens and dozens of people who have previously indicated interest in pimping their small fandoms step up, it could be a pretty quiet month. By which I ask you in the most roundabout fashion to please pimp this if you can so those who don't watch the community on a regular basis don't miss their chance.

Given that it's Thanksgiving weekend, there may be folks who simply aren't on the puter right now to see the request. :)

The original post was made last week, so I don't think Thanksgiving can be blamed for the low response thus far. :)

Ah, but they may have been *thinking* about it and then got caught up in holiday busy-ness, you see.

Can you volunteer for it now even if you haven't previously indicated interest?

I'd volunteer to do the New Avengers (tvshow, not comic) except there're only about four fanfics about them on the entire internet, not counting the stuff I'm trying to write.

*sigh* Maybe next time around!

I'd be more than happy to do a second month of Sports Night. Especially as I have a Christmas fic on my list that I'm dying to rec.

I'd be willing to do an overview & some recs for fullmetal alchemist.

Sports Night is a retired full-time fandom, so you would need to sign up in this post (http://community.livejournal.com/crack_van/1036751.html) to take it for another spin. Thanks!

I think we've got some volunteers in line for Fullmetal Alchemist already, so unless you commented previously you're out of luck on that one. Thanks for offering, though!

As long as you're not jumping ahead of someone who has already offered to do the overview. And you can always reply to their original comment to see if they've lost interest if you really want to do it.

If I can get the overview of Ultraviolet done this week, then I'll be happy to drive that van. But I really need to do the overview.
