Why this must be read:

I have arbitrary rules about not reccing the same author twice in one month, like everyone else, but I try to rec in sets and I didn't want to break up this particular theme. So. *tosses rules into nearest open wormhole* The theme in question is Cam and Atlantis' John Sheppard, which is a weirdly popular pairing when you consider that they've had one scene together. (I'm not judging. Just observing.) But on the other hand, they're both terribly pretty Air Force colonels with weird jobs and massive hero complexes and an unhealthy attachment to their teams - maybe it's meant to be. Minervacat takes the things they have in common, and the things they don't, and turns them into lovely smut. Puddlejumper smut. What's better than that?

"SG-1's a different crappy decision every time," Cam says. "Is that why we're up here?"

"Why what?" Sheppard says.

"To have manly yet emotionally touching conversations about our military careers," Cameron says. "Out of the hearing of all the scientists and the nosy Marine with the red hair who kept trying to grab my ass."

"Cadman's harmless," Sheppard says. "Hell of an explosives expert, though. No, I just thought ... Jackson said you didn't get to fly much anymore, and you can't pilot this, but I thought you might like to get ... off the ground for a while."
