Why this must be read:

I love when fic can take a funny or cliched character and give them depth, without losing any of the canon characterization. I'm not quite sure how this one manages to be so funny and so heartbreaking at once. Great summary, great range of pairings and tones, super great Kelly/Ryan and Kelly/Jim interaction.
