Why this must be read: I really love Blair-gets-amnesia-and-regresses-to-his-childhood stories (and why aren't there any stories where that happens to Jim, I wonder?). I really like this one because it doesn't leave the toys in mint condition, neatly back in their proper places at the end, but there's still a happy ending. And I adore the way Blair keeps all the fragments coordinated--it's so perfectly Blair.

This is a lovely story that you've rec'd, but your question reminded me that there *is* at least one story in which Blair takes care of a regressed Jim: Teddy's Imp by Shedoc. :)

Ah, thank you! I've been hunting for this fic for a while now, as I wanted to read it again, but I couldn't remember what it was called, only that it dealt with a number of different Blair-personalities.

I didn't know what to expect at all, but was pulled in quickly.
I'm glad that many of the "Blairs" did not get integrated again, even though the whole thing was such a double egded sword.
