Squeaking this last rec under the wire--This is one of my all-time favorite Scully POV stories, and Sandy's Scully voice is perfect to my ear. I like the understated way Sandy reveals the emotional currents lurking below the professional facades that are so firmly in place.

Very interesting. Very, very interesting. I don't usually read XF slash (or implied slash), but as you said, the Scully voice is just perfect. And there are so many stories about Mulder and Scully going to conferences that it's very refreshing to read about Scully and Skinner for a change. Thanks.

Oh, glad to know I turned someone on to a "new" author. Josan was one of the first to get me to read X-Files, mainly because I like the Skinner stories best. ;)
