Why this must be read:
I'm recc'ing this fic because like my second rec, it deals with the darker side of the two characters. It takes what we know about the two men from the show, adds some stark reality to the characters and the time they lived in and quite simply sums up that spark that Chris/Ezra slashers thrive on. Nothing's sugar-coated here, and this fic leaves you with a sense of honest realism, but it's a wonderful insight into the two characters.
