In this story we have Giles and Xander in season four. Giles is no longer a Watcher or a librarian, Xander is left behind as Buffy and Willow go to college. What are they to do? They end up hanging out, patroling together and generally get in each other's way. Until one evening, Xander does something wrong. Giles takes him to task for it and what we the reader get is something smoking hot and yet still very true to who these men are.
