Why this must be read: Recently, there's been a spate of Mohinder/Sylar fics; it seems to be gaining in popularity in the fandom and why not? You have your Gentle Idealist in Mohinder and your Charismatic Villain in Sylar and either way, you've got plenty of Pretty.
Like most villains, Sylar is an enigma; very little is known about him, his past or his motivations. In this story,hackthis looks out through Sylar's skewed viewpoint and, in doing so, gives us an interesting look in. I really enjoy her take on Sylar; the overlap of thoughts and motivation, the almost claustrophobic density of his overwhelming personality. It's one of those characterizations that feels like canon and if it isn't? It should be.
