Why this vid kicks ass:

This video explains Torchwood-era Jack for me. He's making the hard decisions, working hard to save the world, comforting his friends through their losses, and often paying the price for being the leader. And all he wants is some comfort--some peace of mind.


The lyrics of the chorus are incredibly moving, but even more so if taken as coming from Jack:
