Hee, I was skimming through my flist and I totally read this as Mr Bennett from Pride and Prejudice at first! The vision of Mr Bennett on an aeroplane was quite something. *g*

Oh, that would be weird! I suspect that Austen's Bennett would understand the codified social order of Neptune, California very well though. Veronica Mars meets Pride and Prejudice - it could be epic!
