Why this must be read:
I thought I'd add a little more angst to this month's offerings. While I'm not a fan of Mulder or Krycek with Skinner, several XF fans are. Plus this fic to me is more about the Mulder/Krycek relationship, what it was, and what's left.
Colonization and the war are over and Mulder finds himself back in DC running into an old accomplice. The imagery of the bleak DC winter suits the character interaction very well and the awkwardness is understandable and well done..
