Why this must be read: I've always loved Jane's stuff, and this doesn't disappoint. It's dense with atmosphere and history, her look at Owen and Suzie are breath-taking, and she writes a Jack that I don't just believe in, but can feel. You should know that there are spoilers for episodes 1X08 and 1X11.



When Jack steps up behind him, Owen almost expects to be startled, but in the half-second before he's touched, he can feel Jack's warmth. Can't help but lean back into it. Warm chest against his back, coat swirling around them both, and Jack's arms are both wrapped around Owen's body, back to front, holding him still. Curling in around him.

Oooh nice job on that rec! I'm so glad for a TW driver. I can't seem to find much in the way of good fic for this fandom but that's probably because I've stopped clicking on anything that says Jack/Ianto just because of the sheer number of it. But if some Jack/Ianto fic gets recced then I will totally read. :)

Torchwood can be really, really, overwhelming. It's hard to find the good stuff because, like you said, there's a lot of it. I'm not entirely sure about my whole month, yet, but I know there's at least one J/I coming. (I'm not a shipper, by any stretch of the imagination, mind you. Well, if you stretched, maybe, but Jack/Doctor *cough*)
