These are three interlinked ficlets, Annie's thoughts on Sam after three separate incidents post episode 1.04, post episode 1.07 and post episode 2.01.
It’s a rare thing to see, Annie thinks. Normally Sam drinks...well, like a girl, to tell the truth. He’ll have a few pints, sipped slowly, and call it a night. Like Annie, and most of the plonks. Walk home, still upright, and show up to work the next morning feeling decent. Sam will cut loose a bit, mostly on weekends. But he’s still careful, pausing after each round to consider if he wants another or not. Normally.
