Many superhero titles get passed down from one hero to another in the DC universe; in particular, there have been six Green Lanterns assigned to Earth at one time or another. There's usually much angst (particularly in fanfic) about the passing of the mantle and is the new hero as good as the old one is and trying to fit into the predecessor's shoes.
This? This is a freaking hilarious look at the phenomenon, all packed into just 257 words.
